Our office is tucked away in Chandi Vyapar Bhawan on Exhibition Road. If you know where the Bombay Dyeing building is, we are right near there. It is a busy part of the city and finding a parking spot can be a real headache most days. We have been operating out of this specific space for quite a while now. Most of our day is spent handling shipments and talking to people overseas or at the ports on the phone. There are always boxes and documents lying around because that is just the nature of the overseas trade business. It is a small team here and we all end up doing a bit of everything to keep things moving. One minute you are on a long call and the next you are checking a shipping manifest for errors. The building itself has that old commercial feel to it, with lots of other businesses and offices nearby. We get our tea from the small shop downstairs and usually eat lunch at our desks while we wait for different time zones to line up. It gets pretty hectic when a big order is moving through, but we are used to the pace by now. We do not have any fancy showrooms or anything like that. It is just a basic workspace where we get the actual work done. Sometimes the internet acts up or the power goes out, but we just keep at it. People come by for meetings and we keep the coffee ready.
