Ramajan Store

Ramajan Store has been a part of the Mahendru area in Patna for a long time now. It’s a small shop, but we try to keep it stocked with the things our neighbors need every day. You can find things like oil, rice, lentils, and basic household items on our shelves. Mahendru is a crowded part of the city, and the streets are narrow, so we get a lot of foot traffic. Most of our customers are people who live just a few houses away. They send their children over with a small list of things to buy for dinner. It’s a busy life here in Patna. We open early because the workers like to pick up things before they head out. The shop isn't fancy at all. We have old wooden counters and the light isn't very bright in the back corners. Sometimes we have to hunt around to find where we put a specific box of matches or a packet of tea. It can be a bit chaotic during the festival seasons when everyone wants the same ingredients at once. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just focus on the people walking in. Dealing with the heat in the summer is the hardest part, but we have a small cooler that helps a bit. It’s just a regular local store where people can get their daily needs without any fuss or trouble. We’ve seen the kids grow up and start coming here as adults now.
