We are located on Khagul Road in Anisabad, very close to the Lal Mandir. Most people in this part of Patna know the temple, so we just tell them to look for that. Our setup is quite basic. We have a couple of rooms where we hold our classes throughout the day. The traffic on Khagul Road is almost always heavy, so there is a constant hum of engines and horns in the background while we work. We have some basic wooden furniture and the lighting is just regular tube lights. It’s not the most modern place, but it serves its purpose for the students who come here. We see a lot of different faces every day, mostly local kids from the colony. During the summer, it can get quite stuffy inside, so we keep the fans on high speed. There’s a small area where students can leave their bags, but it usually gets a bit messy by the afternoon. We don't have any formal reception area or a waiting lounge for parents. Usually, if a parent wants to talk, they just wait by the door or come inside during the break. It’s a very direct way of doing things. We stay here until late in the evening, making sure everyone has finished their work before we lock up. The local tea seller often brings us some chai in the afternoon which is the highlight of the day. Sometimes you can hear the temple bells from Lal Mandir during the evening prayers, which is quite nice amidst all the street noise.
