Rachna Dresses is out here in Patna, specifically at Co. Ashodaya Nala Par on Gokul Path Nagar. If you know the G.I.D.C. Metoda area, you know it’s mostly industrial and busy with workers. The "Nala Par" part of the address is literal, we are right by the canal. It’s not the most scenic spot, but it works for what we do with the dresses. Some days it smells a bit like the city, and the roads can get muddy when it rains heavily during the monsoon. We are located in a simple building. Inside, it’s mostly just stacks of fabric and sewing machines running. It gets quite loud when everyone is working at once. The light isn't great in the back corner, so we use a lot of lamps. We don’t really have a big showroom or anything like that. People usually come to us because they know where we are tucked away. Sometimes the courier guys get lost trying to find Gokul Path Nagar because the signs aren't very clear, but we usually just wave them down from the road. It’s a bit of a commute for some of us, but this is where the space was available. We just keep our heads down and get the orders done. It’s a basic operation. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. Just a dress shop by the nala. That is pretty much the whole story of this place.
