We’ve been here on 70 Feet Road for a while now. Most days start with opening the metal shutters and checking the machines to see if they’re ready for the day. Budhijeevi Colony is usually pretty busy in the mornings, especially with all the traffic near the Dasaratha Byepass. It gets loud outside with the constant horns and engines, but we just keep working on the cards. People come in with their photos and we get to work on the computers. Sometimes the printer acts up or the ink runs low, so we have to stop and fix it right then. It is just a small setup here in this room. We handle a lot of student cards and work badges for people in the area. It’s mostly just us sitting at the desks, making sure the names are spelled right. The heat can get a bit much in the afternoons, so we keep the fan on high. We aren't a big corporation or anything fancy. Just some local guys doing printing work for the neighborhood. Usually, we wrap things up before it gets too dark outside. The tea stall nearby is where we take our breaks. It is a simple routine. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know how the software works. Sometimes customers wait while we finish the lamination on their cards. It is honest work and it keeps us busy. We see a lot of different faces every day from all over the colony.
