Hari Om Cards

Our shop, Hari Om Cards, is situated right near Uma Cinema Hall on M.P Sinha Road. Being in the Kadamkuan area means we are always surrounded by a lot of movement and noise from the Golambar. We focus on printing cards for various occasions, and the place is usually filled with stacks of different paper types and samples. It is not the most organized space, as there are always boxes of envelopes or ink canisters sitting around where they probably shouldn't be. We spend a lot of our hours looking at designs and checking for typos before the big machines start running. The smell of fresh ink is something you just get used to after a week. Sometimes customers come in with very specific ideas and we try to see what can be done on the budget they have. It is a lot of sitting and a lot of standing, depending on what the day demands. We chose this spot because it's easy for people to find, especially with the cinema hall right there. When the movies let out, the street gets incredibly crowded. We have had this routine for quite some time, just opening up in the morning and seeing who walks through the door. It is a local business through and through, with no corporate frills or complicated systems. We just handle the cards and try to keep the machines from jamming during the busy seasons. It’s just how we run things every day.
