We are over in Village Bishunpur, in the Vaishali district. Our base is at House Number 10 in the Tolabalbhadar area, under the Vishunpur panchayat. Dhanlakshmi Herbal Organics Private Limited is something we started to work with the plants and herbs that grow well in our soil. Vaishali has a long history, and we feel connected to that through our work. We focus on organic ways of growing herbs. It’s not a big industrial lab or anything like that. It’s mostly us drying plants, sorting seeds, and figuring out how to package them without using too much plastic. The house is always smelling of different roots and leaves. We aren't professional writers or marketing people, so we don't have a lot of polished things to say. We just know that the herbs we grow are handled with care. There are times when the weather doesn't cooperate and we lose some of the harvest, but that's just how it goes with farming. We work closely with our neighbors and the local panchayat. It’s a quiet, practical life. We spend our mornings in the garden or the small processing area we’ve set up. We aren't looking to become some massive corporation. We just want to provide good, natural products from our village to whoever needs them. It’s a simple, honest business and we take things as they come.
