Bikram Organic Farmers Producer Company Limited

This company is located out in Patut, which is part of the Bikram block. Parmjeet Kumar is the one looking after the office here in the village. It is a rural area, so things move at their own pace and we do not rush much. We are mostly a group of farmers who decided to pool our resources together to see if we could do better. Working with organic crops in Patut means we have to be very careful with how we treat the land. We do not have a marketing team or anyone like that. It is just us, the farmers, and our families helping out. Most of our meetings happen right here in the village, sometimes in a small room or just outside. We talk about the seeds, the rain, and where we might be able to sell the produce for a fair price. Being a producer company means everyone has a say in what happens. It is a bit messy sometimes, but it is honest work. We do not have fancy uniforms or anything. If you walk into our office, you will probably see some sacks of grain or old tools lying in the corner. That is because we actually work on the farms ourselves. We are not just sitting behind desks all day. Life in Bikram is centered around the harvest cycles.
