Anuradha Stores

Anuradha Stores is tucked away on Sarsa Road in the Chaile Tad area of Gulzarbagh. Being here in Patna, we see all kinds of people coming through every day. The shop is located in Naya Gaur, and it has been our main work for quite a few years now. We sell the usual general items that every house needs to keep running. You can find everything from matches to lentils and basic medicines here. It is a bit of a walk from the main transport hubs, but the local families around Gulzarbagh know us well. We don't have those bright neon signs or anything fancy like that. Just a simple board out front with the name painted on it. Inside, it is a bit cramped because we try to fit as much stock as possible into the small space we have. Sometimes you have to ask where something is because it is hidden behind a crate of soda or a stack of buckets. The monsoon rains usually leak a little near the front door, so we keep some old gunny bags there to soak up the water during the storms. My nephew helps out on the weekends when school is out. We don't really do any promotions or sales. People come because they know we are open and we have what they need at a price that makes sense. It is just a regular local shop doing its thing.
