Advance Mathematics Centre

Math is one of those things people either love or hate, and we’ve seen a lot of both here in Anisabad. This center is on the Khagaul Main Road, right near S S Hospital. It’s easy to spot if you’re coming from Dhirachak. We don't have any high-tech gadgets or interactive boards, just a lot of chalk and old-fashioned blackboards. That’s how we think math should be taught anyway. It’s about practice and getting the formulas right. The building is just a normal one, nothing special to look at from the outside. We have students coming in from all over Patna because they heard we actually take the time to explain things. It gets a bit dusty with the road right there, but we keep the place as clean as we can. Sometimes we stay late when a big exam is coming up. It's just a few of us teaching and a lot of students trying to figure out their equations. There isn't any big philosophy behind what we do. We just open the books, solve the problems, and try to make sure nobody leaves feeling confused. It’s hard work for the kids, but seeing them get it right is why we keep the doors open. We've got stacks of old notebooks piled up in the corner and a clock that's five minutes fast, but it works for us. We're just local teachers trying to help the neighborhood kids get through their exams.
