Yo Yo Snacks

If you are walking down the Main Road in Patiala, you will find us near Mahindra College Road. We are quite close to Nis Chowk, which is always a busy area. It’s a small shop mostly focused on snacks. We get a lot of students coming by because the college is so close. They usually want something quick between their classes. It’s a noisy street with all the traffic, but we like being in the middle of it all. The shop isn't huge, but it works for what we do. We spend most of our mornings getting the ingredients ready before the crowd starts arriving around noon. It’s been at this location for some time now and most people in the neighborhood know where we are. We don’t have much in the way of fancy seating or anything. It’s more of a place where you grab your food and maybe stand around talking for a minute before heading off. The staff is just a couple of guys who know how to handle the fryers and the counter. We try to keep things clean, but with the dust from the road, it is a constant job. Patiala is a good place for this kind of business. People here like their food. We just try to keep up with the orders. Sometimes we run out of things early if it's a particularly busy afternoon near the Chowk. That’s just part of running a small snack shop on a main road like this one. There is always something happening outside.
