Down on Sirhind Road, you’ll find us at number 888 in Ghuman Nagar. It’s a pretty easy address to remember. The road is often busy with trucks and cars moving between towns. Our shop is just a regular building on the street. We don’t have big flashing lights or anything like that. Inside, things are piled up a bit, as we try to make the most of the space we have. It feels like a neighborhood spot because that’s exactly what it is. We know the people who live nearby and the other shopkeepers on this block. The floor is just plain cement, and the shelves are made of wood we’ve had for years. It’s not a fancy boutique by any means. It’s a place where we work every day, from morning until late. Sometimes it gets a bit quiet in the afternoon, so we just sit and watch the traffic go by on Sirhind Road. When it’s busy, everyone is moving at once. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. If you ask for something, we usually know exactly which pile it’s in. It’s an honest way to spend the day. We’ve been here long enough that the building feels like it’s part of us. It’s simple, it’s a bit cramped, but it’s where we are. We just keep doing what we do without much fuss.
