Our shop is at Scf 23 Phase 1 in the New Grain Market. We are located right on Sirhind Road. Being in a grain market means our life follows the seasons. When the harvest comes in, this place is absolutely packed with tractors and trucks and people shouting over the noise. It gets very dusty and loud, but that is when we are busiest. Our family has been doing this for a while. We aren't just sitting in an office; we are out there on the floor or talking to the farmers who come in from the surrounding villages. It’s a practical business. We deal with what the earth gives us. The office itself is pretty basic, just some chairs and a desk where we keep the books. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the loads to arrive. It’s a lot of waiting followed by a lot of rushing. We don't have any corporate slogans or anything. We just know the people around here and they know us. If the crop is good, everyone is happy. If not, we all feel it together. It’s a simple life tied to the land and the market. We just try to be fair and keep the business going for the next generation. It is just the way things have always been done on Sirhind Road.
