Seshadri Raw & Boiled Rice Mill

Our mill, Seshadri Raw & Boiled Rice Mill, is situated on the Nabha-Bhadson Road in Village Sahouli. We are out in the Patiala district, right where the farming action is. This place has been running for a long time. We handle both raw rice and the boiled variety. During the harvest season, this whole area gets incredibly busy with tractor-trolleys lined up along the road. The mill is full of the sound of the huskers and the dryers. There is always a bit of dust in the air and that specific smell of grain being processed. We have a lot of space for storage because the bags of rice pile up quickly. We aren't some big corporate food company. We are a local mill that works with the farmers around Sahouli. Our machinery is old but we keep it running well with regular greasing and repairs. It’s a lot of physical work, moving bags and monitoring the boilers. We don't really have an office staff, just the people who know how to run the mill and keep the quality right. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially if it rains during the drying phase, but we manage. We just focus on the daily tasks of milling and bagging. It is a simple life out here on the Nabha-Bhadson Road, and we are happy to be part of the community here.
