English Tutor

Our place is right on the Main Road here in Patiala. It's easy to spot because of all the traffic going by. We teach English here. It’s mostly grammar and helping kids with their school books. We also help people who want to speak better. The room is simple, just some chairs and a table. It can get a bit noisy from the street, but you get used to it after a few days. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know the language well. We spend a lot of time correcting essays and checking spelling. Some students are really quiet, while others like to talk a lot. We try to get everyone to participate. It’s not like a big school. It feels more like sitting in a living room and talking. We have some old dictionaries and a bunch of printed worksheets. Every afternoon, the doorbell starts ringing and the kids pile in. We don't use any fancy computer programs or anything like that. It’s just pen and paper and reading out loud. People stop by on their way home from work or school. It’s a convenient spot for most folks. We’ve been doing this for a while now, right here on the Main Road. It’s just what we do every day, helping people get their English right. It's a lot of reading and writing, day after day, and we keep at it to help people understand.
