So we are over at 295, Street No 1A/11 in Guru Nanak Nagar. It's a busy little pocket of Patiala. Ascend Worldwide Pvt Ltd might sound like a big name, but we are just regular people working out of this space. The street is usually pretty lively. We’ve been here for a while now, and everyone around knows who we are. It’s not a huge building, just a decent place to sit and work. We don't have a big reception area or fancy coffee machines. We just use a kettle in the back. Most days it is just the sound of keyboards and the occasional delivery truck outside. We handle a lot of different things from this office. It can get a bit cramped when we have a lot of files, but we manage. Patiala is a good place to be based. People here are straightforward and that’s how we like to work too. We don't spend much on decorations because we’re mostly focused on the tasks on our desks. Sometimes the internet acts up, but we get through it. It’s a local operation even if the name suggests something bigger. We like the neighborhood feel of Guru Nanak Nagar. It keeps us grounded. We just show up every morning and see what the day brings. There is a small shop around the corner where we get our snacks, and that’s about as exciting as it gets here.
