Preliminary

Preliminary is based in Manjadi P O, Tiruvalla, in Kerala. The zip code is 689105. It’s a very green part of the state, and we have trees all around the office. The building is simple, just one floor with a small porch out front. We spend a lot of time watching the rain during the wet season. It’s very quiet here, almost too quiet sometimes if you’re used to the city. We have a few desks and some old wooden chairs. They aren’t the most comfortable, but they do the job. We do a lot of our work by hand or on basic computers. There isn't any fancy technology here. We usually start our day early, around eight, to beat the afternoon heat. By two o'clock, the sun is really strong. We’ve been in Tiruvalla for years. Most people in the area know us by sight. We don't have a big sign or a logo on the door. It’s just a place where we come to work. Sometimes we sit out on the porch during our breaks. We don't have a big staff, just a few local people. It’s a very slow pace of life compared to places like Kochi. We like it this way. It’s practical and doesn't involve any unnecessary stress or corporate talk. If the power goes out, we just wait for it to come back. We focus on the tasks at hand and don't worry about much else. It's a peaceful way to work.
