Out here at State Highway near the Khali Char Rasta, things get pretty dusty. That is just how it is with Urvesh Psyllium Industries Limited. We spend most of the day around the machines and the husks. The crossroads at Khali is always busy with trucks and people moving through. It’s a loud spot but you get used to the noise after a few weeks. We have been at this location for a good bit of time now. The building isn't brand new or anything. It’s got some wear and tear on the walls but it holds everything we need. You can smell the grain in the air when the wind blows the right way. Most of the guys live nearby so they just walk or bike in. We don't really do much in the way of fancy meetings. Usually, we just stand around the floor and talk about what needs doing for the afternoon shift. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, which is just part of being out here. We keep the registers and the logs by the front door. It’s a lot of manual work and checking the bags. The sun hits the highway hard in the afternoon so we keep the shutters halfway down to stay cool. It’s a simple setup but it works for us. Nobody wears suits here. We just wear what gets the job done and hope the machines don't act up.
