Siddharth Restaurant

We started Siddharth Restaurant a while back on the State Highway in Sidhpur. We are part of the N V Estate. If you are driving on the highway, you will see the Tavdiya Cross Road, and we are right opposite that. It is a very convenient spot for people who are traveling between Patan and other parts of Gujarat. The highway is always busy with trucks and private cars. We get a lot of people who are just tired and need to stretch their legs and eat something. The restaurant is basic with a few tables and we keep the place open for long hours. Since we are on the highway, it gets quite dusty, so we are constantly cleaning. Patan is a historical place, but out here it feels very different. It is more about the movement of people. We don't have a marketing team. We just have a board outside that people can see from their cars. My family and I run the whole thing. We don't have any big corporate plans to expand. We just want to make sure the food we serve is just okay and people can go on their way. Sometimes the highway gets blocked by roadwork, and things get a bit slow. But mostly, it’s just the same routine every day here at the little crossroad.
