Bhadai Madhyamik Shala

In the area of Kutch, specifically in Mandvi, you will find Bhadai Madhyamik Shala. Our address is Kutch, Mandvi - 384245. We are a small school and we like it that way. The wind blows in from the coast quite often, so there is always a bit of sand on the windowsills and in the corners of the rooms. We spend a lot of time cleaning, but it is a losing battle. The school has a few basic classrooms and a small staff room where we keep the registers and the chalk. We don't have any big computer labs or fancy sports equipment. The kids play with whatever they can find on the dusty ground outside. It is a very simple way of life here in Mandvi. Most of the families are involved in farming or local trades, so we try to keep the school schedule in line with what works for them. The building is quite old and the roof needs some work every time the monsoon comes around. We just patch it up and keep going. We aren't here to win any awards or be in the newspapers. We just want to make sure the local children have a place to go and learn their lessons. The teachers are hardworking folks who don't ask for much. It is just an honest, local school that has been part of the landscape for a very long time now.
