Rashmi Metaliks Ltd.

Our site is located in Gokulpur, which is part of the Shyamraipur post office area in West Midnapore. It is a bit of a drive to get out here, but it is where the work happens for Rashmi Metaliks Ltd. The landscape around the district is mostly open, and you see a lot of industrial activity once you get closer to our gates. We have a lot of people coming in and out every day, mostly workers who have been with us for years. The office is pretty basic, just some desks and old chairs, and we spend a lot of time looking over ledgers or talking to the drivers. It gets very humid here during the monsoon season, and the roads can get a bit muddy, but we manage to keep things moving. There isn't much in the way of shops right next to us, so most of us bring our own tea or snacks. We are just a group of people trying to keep the operations running smoothly. The machinery is loud, and there is always something that needs fixing or checking. We don't spend much time worrying about how the place looks to outsiders as long as the work is getting done. It’s a practical environment where everyone knows their job. Some days are longer than others, especially when there are deliveries waiting, but that is just the nature of what we do here in this part of Midnapore. It’s a long day, but we're used to it.
