College Swag

College Swag is based right inside the IIT Kharagpur campus at Quarter No. C-27. It is not some big corporate office in a glass building; it is actually run out of a campus quarter. Because we are right here in West Bengal 721302, we are always around the students and the academic atmosphere. We started this because we wanted to have something local for the people here. Most of the work involves managing orders and looking at designs while sitting at a simple desk. The walls are probably covered in notes and sketches of different ideas. It is a bit of a small space, but it works for what we need. We don't have a huge team, just a few people who know the campus well. Sometimes the internet is slow or things get delayed, but we just deal with it as it comes. It feels very much like a student-run project that just kept going. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements. People usually find out about us through word of mouth on campus. It is a very grounded way of doing things, and being in a residential quarter means there is always a bit of that homey feeling to the work. We just do our best to get things out to people who want them without making things too complicated. Being part of the IIT community makes the work much more interesting for us.
