Shree Balaji Trading Co.

Our office is at Plot No. 650/8 in Sethi Chowk. We are right near the Lal Masjid, so we hear the calls for prayer throughout the day. It’s a very central part of the area and it stays busy from morning until night. Shree Balaji Trading Co. deals with a lot of different goods that come through this chowk. We have a lot of bags and crates stacked up inside the premises. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. The traffic outside can be a nightmare sometimes, especially with the rickshaws and carts blocking the road. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to different vendors. It is a lot of back and forth trying to get things moved around. The weather in this part of town gets really dusty, so we have to wipe down the desks every morning. We have a small staff and we’ve all been working together for a long time. There isn't any corporate hierarchy here; we all just pitch in where it is needed. Sometimes we share a meal together in the back room when things quiet down. It’s just a regular trading business, nothing more and nothing less. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know us from being in Sethi Chowk for so many years. It’s a decent place to work and we like being here.
