You’ll find Shree Ram College out on NH73, near Mouli in the Barwala area. It’s a bit outside the main city of Panchkula, which gives us a little more space than the schools stuck in the middle of town. Being right off the highway is convenient for the staff and students who commute from the surrounding villages and towns. The campus is basically just a few buildings and some open ground. It can get very windy out here, and in the winter, the fog gets so thick you can barely see the gate from the front door. We have our classrooms and some labs, but it’s all very functional. There aren’t any fancy lounge areas or high-tech gadgets everywhere. We just focus on the lessons and making sure the students have what they need for their exams. The office is usually a bit of a mess with stacks of papers and folders everywhere. We try to stay organized, but with so many students, it’s a constant battle. During the lunch break, everyone spills out into the courtyard, and it gets quite lively for about an hour. Then the bell rings and it goes back to being quiet again. It’s a straightforward life here. We aren't trying to be anything other than a local college where people can come to study. It’s just a plain, honest place to get an education.
