Our place, Divya Institute, is situated in Cabin No. 28 on the second floor of SCO-41-42 in Panchkula. If you are familiar with Sector 11, we are right near Canan Plaza. It is a bit of a walk up the stairs since we are on the second floor, but most people don't seem to mind. The office is not very large, just a few rooms where we keep our books and papers. We have students coming in from all over the area, including several from Chandigarh. The building itself is an older one, so it has that lived-in, practical feel to it. We don't have fancy decorations or those big leather office chairs. It is just basic wooden tables and chairs where everyone sits to study. Sometimes the printer gives us trouble when we are trying to get notes ready, but we manage to get it fixed eventually. We spend most of our hours either talking to parents or helping the students with their lessons. There is a small tea stall just outside the building where we go for a break when things are quiet. Most families in this part of Panchkula know us by now. We don't really do any big advertisements; people just tell their neighbors about us. It feels more like a community center than a formal school. We like keeping the groups small so we can actually remember every student's name and how they are doing. It gets quite busy in the afternoons, but we just keep working through it.
