Satya Narayan Steel & Cement Depo is located on Station Road in Kalol Panchamahal. Being near the station means we get to see the trains going by and it is a very active part of town. The depot is a big open space where we keep all the steel rods and the bags of cement. It is heavy work and we are out in the yard most of the day regardless of the weather. Kalol is a place where people are always building something so we stay pretty busy with orders coming in. We don't have a polished office with a receptionist. Usually you will find us out back moving materials or talking to the truck drivers who are unloading new stock. The ground is always covered in a bit of grit from the cement and the steel can be rusty if it has been sitting for a bit in the rain. We have been operating on Station Road for years and we know most of the contractors around Panchamahal by name. There isn't anything fancy about how we run things. We just keep track of the inventory and make sure people get what they paid for. It is honest work and it keeps us on our feet.
