Wh Maharani Bagh Orchard Retreat

We are tucked away on Ranakpur Road, not far from the famous Ranakpur Temples. If you’ve ever driven down this way, you know it’s a bit more rural and quiet. The orchard is a big part of what we have here. There are a lot of fruit trees and it takes a lot of effort to keep them healthy throughout the year. The weather in this part of Rajasthan can be quite harsh, so we are always watching the sky for rain. Being near the temples means we get a lot of people passing through who are visiting the area for spiritual reasons. It’s a peaceful spot, mostly. We aren't a big city hotel with bright lights. We are more of a place where you hear birds in the morning instead of car horns. The staff spends most of their time outdoors, either in the orchard or around the guest areas. It’s a lot of manual labor, honestly. Pruning trees, clearing leaves, and making sure the irrigation is working right. We don't have any fancy mission statements to share. We just want to keep the trees growing and the rooms ready for whoever decides to stop by. It’s a simple way of living and working. Some days are long, especially when the harvest is ready, but it’s what we know how to do here on Ranakpur Road. We just keep things moving along.
