Roopam Hotel

We are located on Sumerpur Road inside the Shri Roop Market. It’s a busy little area, especially during the market days when everyone is out buying things for their homes. The hotel is basically a few floors of rooms above the shops. It’s not hard to find if you know the road. We spend most of our time at the front desk or checking on the rooms after someone leaves. It’s a lot of laundry and a lot of sweeping, to be honest. The market can get pretty loud, so you hear the vendors and the bikes all day long outside. We don't have a gym or a swimming pool or anything like that. It’s just rooms with beds and bathrooms for people who need to stay in town for work or to visit family members. The furniture is a bit older now, but it still does the job. Most of the people who stay with us are traders or people traveling through the 306401 area. We’ve had this place for a while and we know how to handle the busy seasons when they come. Some nights it’s very quiet and we just sit around the entrance and talk about the day. Other nights, every room is full and we are running around like crazy. It’s a simple business, nothing too complicated. We just try to keep the place tidy and the doors locked.
