Vikram Cement Agency is out on the Ranakpur Desuri Road in Sadri. It is a very simple operation. We deal with cement bags all day, so the whole place has that gray dust on everything. It’s just the nature of the business. We are right on the road, which makes it easy for the trucks to pull in and load up. The office is just a small room where we keep our registers and a few chairs for when people come to pay. It gets quite hot in Sadri during the summer, but we have a fan that keeps the air moving. We aren’t trying to be a big corporate office. We are just a local agency helping people get the supplies they need for their building projects. Whether it’s a small repair or a bigger house, we just provide the cement. We’ve been at this location for a good amount of time. You can hear the traffic going towards Ranakpur all day long. Sometimes the wind blows the dust around, but we are used to it by now. It is hard work, moving those heavy bags, but it is what we do. We don't have a website or anything like that, people just know we are here on the Desuri Road. It’s a straightforward way to make a living, and we just keep at it day after day without much fuss.
