Ayub Ali Saiyad

My place is right near the Bali Selgate Old Bus Stand. If you know the old bus stand area, you know it is always full of people and buses coming and going. I, Ayub Ali Saiyad, have been working from this spot for quite some time. It is a busy location, but that is how I like it. My workspace is simple and doesn't have any of those modern decorations. I have my basic tools and a place to sit. It can get a bit dusty because of the road, but we clean up every morning. People stop by while they are waiting for their transport or just passing through the gate area. It's a very local way of doing business. I don't use any fancy systems or computers for everything. Most things are handled face-to-face. I talk to the customers, understand what they need, and then get it done. It’s a small operation, just me and occasionally someone helping out. The noise of the buses becomes like background music after a while. You get to know the other shopkeepers around here too. We all watch out for each other. It’s not a corporate office at all. It’s just a practical space where work happens. I keep my hours regular and try to be here whenever someone might need me. It is a humble setup but it works well for what I do. I’m happy staying right here by the bus stand.
