Shree Mahalaxmi Surgicals

Our shop is tucked away in the Galaxy Apartment complex, right near Darshak Hardware in the Star Complex area. Being in Vasai East means we deal with a lot of traffic and noise from Golani Naka, but we have gotten used to it over the years. Shree Mahalaxmi Surgicals is a place where you will find mostly medical supplies and surgical tools piled up in boxes. Shop No. 16 B is not very large, so we have to use every inch of wall space for shelving. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating with suppliers in Thane District and making sure the inventory is correct. It is important work because doctors and clinics depend on these items being available. Usually, the day starts with a cup of tea while we look over the delivery notes from the day before. The floors get dusty because of all the construction happening nearby, so we are always sweeping. We do not have a fancy reception area or a waiting lounge. People just walk in, tell us what surgical items they need, and we pull them from the stacks. It is a practical environment where we focus on the task at hand. Sometimes it gets stressful when a shipment is delayed, but we just keep at it until everything is sorted out. That is the daily life here for us. We just want to make sure the boxes go out to the hospitals on time.
