Reliable Classes

Our small spot is right in the middle of everything at Shanti Shopping Centre. Being in A/231 means we hear the trains pull into the Mira Road station all day long. It’s a bit noisy, but you get used to it after a week or two. Opposite the railway station is a busy place to be, so there’s always people rushing around outside our windows. We started Reliable Classes because there were so many students in the area needing a quiet place to sit and learn their lessons. The rooms aren't huge, but we make the most of the space we have. We’ve got rows of desks that have seen a lot of ink stains over the years. Most of the kids come here straight after school, looking a bit tired but ready to get their work done. We don't do anything fancy with technology; it's mostly just pens, paper, and a lot of talking things through until they make sense. Sometimes the rain hits the windows so hard we have to speak up, but that’s just life in Thane. We know the shopkeepers nearby and often see the parents waiting downstairs. It’s a very local feel here. We just show up every day, open the shutters, and get to work with whoever is on the schedule. It’s been our routine for a long time now. Everything is kept simple so the kids can just focus on their books without any distractions.
