Bandra Education Academy

Our academy is based in Shop No 11/12 on the first floor of the E Wing in the Haidry Complex. It’s right at Haidry Chowk in Naya Nagar, Mira Road. If you know the area, it’s a busy spot with lots of shops around. Getting up to the first floor can be a bit of a climb if the stairs are crowded. We have a few rooms here where we hold our classes. It’s usually pretty noisy with the sound of teachers talking and students moving their chairs around. We keep things simple with wooden benches and whiteboards. There’s always a bit of chalk dust in the air or a pile of notebooks waiting to be corrected. We started this place because we wanted a local spot for kids in Mira Road to come and study. It’s not a grand institution, just a group of shops turned into a school. The hallways in the complex are a bit narrow, so it gets tight when everyone leaves at the same time. We spend our days planning lessons and talking to parents about how their children are getting on. We don’t have a big office for ourselves, just a small corner with a computer and a printer that occasionally jams. It’s a busy, lived-in place. We’ve been at this Thane address for years and most people in Naya Nagar know where we are. It’s just a practical place to learn.
