Jango For Men

If you go to Sector 6 and look for building A-5, you’ll find us at Shop No. 3. This is Jango For Men, right here on Mira Road. It’s a small shop, mostly filled with racks of clothes and a few mirrors on the walls. We don’t have those fancy window displays you see in the big malls. Instead, we just put out a few of the newer shirts or trousers where people can see them from the sidewalk. Mira Road is always moving, so there’s a lot of dust and noise from the traffic. We spend a good part of the morning dusting off the hangers and organizing the sizes. It’s just a regular clothing store for guys who need something to wear for work or a night out. We have a small changing room in the back that’s a bit cramped, but it does the job. Most of our customers are locals who live in the apartments nearby. They stop in on their way home from the station. We know many of them by name now. The lighting is just standard tubelights, nothing dramatic. We try to keep the prices fair because we know everyone is working hard. Sometimes we get a shipment in and the whole shop is full of plastic bags and boxes for a day or two. We just work around the mess until it’s all sorted out. It’s not glamorous, but it’s our shop and we like being here.
