Lavika Foodtech Private Limited operates out of Parijat Apt, A Wing, in the Chawarewadi area of Bolinj, Virar West. We are based in a regular apartment building, which keeps us grounded. We focus on the tech side of food, which sounds complicated but it’s really just about finding better ways to handle food products. Virar West is a place where people are always on the move, and we feel like we fit right in with that energy. We are a small team and we do almost everything ourselves. There’s no big department for this or that; if something needs doing, one of us just does it. We spend our hours looking at data or testing out different food-related tech. It’s not always glamorous. Sometimes we’re just staring at a screen or a piece of equipment trying to figure out why it’s not doing what it should. We don’t have a polished corporate image because that’s not who we are. We’re just local people trying to build something useful in the food space. The apartment gets busy, and sometimes we have to clear off the table just to have a meeting. It’s a real, working environment. We just like the challenge of making things work better for everyone involved in the food chain. We’ve had our share of setbacks, but we just keep going. This is just how we work.
