Larsen & Tubro. is located over in Thane, specifically on Thermal Power Road. We are based in the Soda Wala Chawl area near Malyan Dahanu Road. This part of Maharashtra is quite industrial. It stays very busy all through the day. Working here means you get used to the noise of the trucks and the bustle of people heading to the power station. Our office isn’t anything fancy. It’s just a straightforward place where we handle the local logistics and coordination. The heat in this part of the country can be quite something. The commute on Dahanu Road is often a bit of a struggle, but we make it work regardless. We spend most of our time dealing with the daily requirements of the jobs in this area and making sure our records are up to date. There are a lot of small shops and tea stalls nearby. We usually go there for a break when things get a bit too hectic in the office. Being in a chawl gives us a very local feel. We are right in the middle of the community. We don't have any big marketing slogans or polished presentations to show off. It’s just about doing the work and keeping the operations running smoothly. Every morning we come in, check what needs to be done, and get started on the list. It’s a busy, practical life here for all of us.
