Konkancrunchy Foods Private Limited

We started this food business in Virar West. We are based in Flat C/202 of the Shri Vinayak Apartment building. It is right across from Viva College, so there are always students walking past and it stays quite lively around here during the day. Nrvishnu Park is also close by if you need a landmark. We make these crunchy snacks that are common in the Konkan region. It is a Private Limited company but since we work out of the apartment complex, it feels very local and small-scale. We spend most of our time in the kitchen area or packing things on the big wooden table we have in the main room. It gets a bit hot when the stoves are going but we have the fans on full blast to keep us cool. We don't have a fancy store or a showroom for people to visit. Most of our work is just preparing the batches and getting them ready to go out to the shops. The neighbors in Bolinj are used to the smells of our cooking by now and nobody really minds. Sometimes we run out of packaging material and someone has to run down to the local market to get more. It is just how it goes for us. We don't have a big corporate plan or anything like that. We just want to make stuff that tastes right and keep the business going one day at a time. It's just us.
