Dr Cafe Coffee

Dr Cafe Coffee is located in Rashmi Enclave, over at B1/610 in Shanti Park. If you know where Xaviers School is in Mira Road East, we are right opposite that. It’s a convenient spot for us and the people living nearby. We spend our mornings getting the machines warmed up and the smell of coffee usually fills the space by 7 am. It’s not a massive corporate cafe with hundreds of branches. We’re just a local spot where the staff knows most of the people who walk in. The building itself is older, but it’s sturdy. Sometimes the school traffic makes it hard to find parking out front, but we manage. We don't have a big manual on how to talk to people, we just say hello and get the orders going. It gets quite busy when the school lets out, which is something we’ve just gotten used to over time. The counter is a bit small but we keep it organized. We aren't trying to change the world, just serving coffee in Mira Road. We’ve got a couple of chairs if someone wants to sit for a minute, but most people are on their way somewhere else. It’s a simple setup and we like it that way. We focus on the tasks at hand and keeping the floor swept. Sometimes the grinder makes a lot of noise, but nobody seems to mind it much.
