Ambika Tea Store

Our little shop is right there in the Amrut Sagar Building, Shop No.1. If you are coming from the railway station in Veur West, you really can't miss us on Mahim Road. It gets very busy around here, especially in the mornings when everyone is rushing to catch their trains. We see the same faces every day, people stopping for a quick bit of energy before they start their long commute. The tea is always on the stove and the smell fills up the small space we have. It’s not a big fancy cafe or anything. It is just a tea store where things are done the old-fashioned way. We have been here for a good bit of time now. The station noise is always in the background, but that is just part of being in Veur West. We keep things simple. There are jars of tea leaves and the usual stuff you find in a local shop. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when too many people come in at once, but we manage. My family helps out and we just try to keep things moving. We don't have any big slogans or marketing plans. We just open the shutters early and stay until the evening rush is over. It’s hard work being on your feet all day by the station, but it’s what we do. The Mahim Road area is always alive and we like being right in the middle of it all.
