Iso 9000:2001 Organization

We operate out of Vasai East in Mumbai. The name of the place is Iso 9000:2001 Organization. It sounds like a big title, but we are a small group of people working out of a modest office. We deal with standards and certifications. Mostly, we help people figure out the rules they need to follow for their own businesses. Vasai is quite a distance from the main part of Mumbai, so it’s a bit quieter here, though the trains are always packed. We’ve been here since before the area got really built up. Our office has a lot of manuals and papers stacked up. It’s not the most organized place to look at, but we know where everything is. We don't have a big marketing department. People find us by word of mouth or by looking up local businesses in the directory. We spend our days looking over documents and checking if everything matches the requirements. It’s slow work and you have to be patient. Sometimes we have to tell people their paperwork isn't ready yet, and they don't like hearing that. We just tell it like it is. We drink a lot of chai from the shop across the street. The office gets a bit dusty because of the construction nearby. We don't mind. We've been here a long time and we plan to stay. It’s a decent life, even if it’s just looking at papers all day long. We close early on Saturdays.
