Green Hill Resort

Green Hill Resort is located out in Pelhar, specifically near Vanothe Pada in Nallasopara East. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you’re coming from the city, but that’s kind of the point. The area is much greener than the crowded parts of Mumbai, hence the name. We’ve got a bit of land here and we spend a lot of our time making sure the grass is cut and the place looks decent. It’s a lot of physical work, honestly. We aren't a five-star hotel with gold-plated faucets; we’re more of a local spot where families come to hang out. Usually, there’s some music playing and the smell of food from the kitchen. The staff mostly live nearby in Nallasopara, so it’s a local crew. Sometimes the rain gets really heavy during monsoon and we have to scramble to keep everything dry, but that’s just life in Pelhar. We have some trees that give good shade, and we spend our afternoons making sure everything is ready for whoever shows up. It’s not always perfectly manicured, but it’s home to us. We don't have a big PR team writing stuff for us, we just let the place speak for itself. It’s a simple resort at Vanothe Pada where things move a little slower, which is exactly how we like it. We have a few stray dogs that hang around, and they’ve basically become part of the staff now. No big deal.
