Taj Gvk Hotels

Saphalya is the building where we are located, right over in the Vadavli area of Vasai. We are quite close to Palle Church, so we hear the bells and see people walking by for the services all the time. Being part of Taj Gvk Hotels sounds like a big thing, but here on the ground at Darpale, it feels more like a local operation. We spend our time managing the rooms and making sure the grounds are kept up as best as we can. Vasai has a different feel than the main city, it is a bit more relaxed but still keeps us on our toes with guests coming in and out. We do not have a bunch of fancy slogans to tell people. Mostly, our day consists of checking the kitchen supplies, talking to the cleaning staff, and making sure the check-in desk isn't left empty for too long. The weather gets really hot around here, so we spend a lot of time making sure the fans and cooling systems are working right. It is a lot of small tasks that add up to a very long day. We like being near the church because it gives the area a bit of a quiet feeling, even when things are busy inside. We have been at this location for a bit now and have seen many different people come through. It is just a regular job for us, keeping the place running and making sure things are in order.
