Atik Parkar

Atik Parkar is located in the Ashirwad Building, which is part of Laxmi Park in Naya Nagar. This is out in Mira Road East, a part of Thane that has grown a lot lately. The office is in B/302. Finding the right building can be a bit tricky because all the blocks look similar in this colony. There are many families living around us, so you hear the sounds of normal life all day long. The building entrance has a small gate and a watchman who usually knows everyone’s business. Inside the office, the space is divided by some wooden partitions. It is not a very big area, but we have managed to fit in enough desks for everyone. The walls are a pale color and have some marks from moving furniture around. Mira Road is a long way from the main city, so we try to get started early before the traffic on the bridge gets too bad. The internet goes out sometimes when it rains heavily, but we just wait it out. There is a small kitchen area where we make coffee. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we don't have to deal with long train rides. It is a practical spot for us. We keep things organized in a way that makes sense, even if it looks a bit cluttered to an outsider.
