This is just a small setup I have here in Mira Road. I’ve lived in Thane for a long time, and I started helping out with lessons because I had some free time and realized I was good at explaining things. It’s not a big school or a center with lots of rooms. Usually, it’s just me and a few students sitting in a room I’ve put aside for this. I have a small desk and enough chairs for whoever is coming over that day. The windows look out onto the street, so I see the local vendors going by every afternoon. Sometimes it gets a bit distracting, but we stay focused on the books. I don’t use any fancy technology or software, just paper, pencils, and the textbooks the students bring from their schools. It’s a very direct way of working. If someone doesn’t understand a math problem, we just go over it again until they do. My neighbors know what I do, so they are usually quiet during the hours when I have students over. Mira Road is a busy area, but this specific spot stays relatively calm. I keep a stack of old newspapers in the corner for when we need to cover the tables for a project. It’s a simple life, teaching like this. I don't need much more than a quiet room and some willing students. Sometimes we take a break for water and just talk about the day before getting back to the grammar rules.
