Ajantaa Assam Tea

Our shop is Number 9, located on Mira Road in Indlok Phase 1. We are right in the middle of Sakre Market, so it’s usually quite a lively place to be. If you are walking down near Ramdev Path, you are basically right there. The market is always buzzing with people buying groceries and household items, and we are just one part of that daily routine. The shop isn't very large, so we have to stack the tea boxes pretty high to make everything fit. It has that specific smell of dry tea leaves that hits you as soon as you step inside. We get all kinds of customers, from people just looking for a small bag for their breakfast to others who want to buy in larger quantities. It’s a bit of a squeeze when there are more than three people in the shop at once, but we manage somehow. We don't have any fancy displays or bright neon signs. It’s just a counter, some shelves, and us. Working in Sakre Market means there is never a dull moment, especially in the evenings when everyone is out shopping. We spend a lot of time weighing out portions and chatting with the regulars who live in Indlok. It’s a simple retail life, and we have been doing it this way for quite a while now. It’s just how the shop runs on Mira Road.
