Wheel Track

Wheel Track is located at 13/5, very close to the Iyyappan Temple in Chittur. If you’re coming for the temple, you’ve probably seen our sign or heard the sound of our tools. We spend our days mostly working on tires and wheels. It’s the kind of job where you’re always on your feet and your clothes usually end up with some grease on them. We have the alignment machines and the jacks all set up in the main area. It gets pretty loud when the air compressor is running, so we have to shout a bit to be heard. We see a lot of cars and bikes coming through, especially people who are traveling through Chittur and realize they have a wobbling wheel or a flat. Being near the temple means there’s always someone around. We don’t have a big waiting room with coffee or anything, just a few chairs where people sit while we finish up the work. It’s a straightforward business. We check the pressure, balance the wheels, and get people back on the road. The Chittur weather can be tough, but we have enough shade to keep working. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Kerala, just a reliable one for the people who live nearby or are passing by the Iyyappan Temple. It’s just us doing the daily grind and keeping the wheels turning for the folks who rely on their vehicles to get around.
