Time Kids Pre School

You can find us right on the Palakkad Cherpulassery Road in Kongad. Time Kids Pre School is where we spend our time with the little ones. Since it’s a pre-school, it’s usually quite loud with kids playing and shouting. We have a few rooms filled with toys, small chairs, and colorful drawings on the walls. It’s not a huge place, just a simple building where local parents bring their toddlers while they go to work. The traffic on the road outside can be a bit noisy, but we’re used to it. We spend a lot of the day just helping the children with their basic activities. There’s always a few snacks being shared and the occasional scraped knee to deal with. The staff here are mostly local women from around Kongad. We don’t have a big corporate feel at all. It’s more like a busy house most of the time. The yard has some play equipment that has seen better days, but the kids still love it. We keep a close eye on the gate because of the road out front. Every morning is a bit of a struggle to get everyone settled, but once they start playing, it’s fine. It’s a practical place for the community. We just focus on making sure the children are safe and occupied until their parents come back in the afternoon. It's simple work but it keeps us very busy every day of the week.
