Our office is on the second floor of the Wisdom Crown building. It’s right on Fort South Road in Palakkad, so it’s pretty easy to find if you’re heading towards the fort area. Prabharan C is the name on the door. It’s usually busy around here with traffic and people walking by. Inside, we mostly spend our time dealing with education stuff. There’s always a stack of applications or some brochures from different colleges scattered around. We have a few desks and a lot of chairs for when students and their parents come by to talk. Sometimes they stay for a long time just asking about courses. It gets a bit crowded on some afternoons. We try to keep the files organized, but there is always something new to file away. The view out the window isn't much, just the road and other buildings, but it's where we work every day. We’ve been here in Kerala for a bit now, just doing this. Some days are quieter than others when we just sit and check emails. We don't really have a big staff, just enough of us to handle the people who walk in. Dealing with university admissions is a slow process, so we spend a lot of time waiting on letters. It feels good when someone finally gets their admission done. We just keep things simple here in Palakkad.
