Al Shifah College Of Nursing

You can find us over in Lemon Valley, which is part of Angadipuram. The Al Shifah College Of Nursing has been here in the Malappuram area for some time. It is a bit of a quiet spot compared to the busy town centers, which is actually quite nice for the students who stay here. We have a lot of young people coming in from different parts of the state to learn about nursing. The building is functional and solid. We have labs and rooms for the lectures. It isn't a place with a lot of bells and whistles or expensive carpets. We just focus on the practical side of health work. Most of the staff here have been around for years and we know the routine well. The walk up to Lemon Valley is something we all do every day. Sometimes the rain in this part of Kerala is quite heavy and everything gets a bit damp or muddy around the entrance, but we just keep going with the classes. We don't spend much time on big speeches or fancy brochures. People mostly hear about us through word of mouth or because they live nearby in the 679321 zip area. It is a steady environment. The students are usually busy with their clinicals or their books. We just try to provide a decent place for them to stay and do their work. It’s a regular nursing college with a lot of hard-working people.
