P I O Soft Drinks

P I O Soft Drinks is tucked away on Kizhisseri Road in Kuzhimanna. It’s a quiet enough area most days, except when the school buses go past or the local market is in full swing. We operate out of a modest space where we handle all our bottling and inventory. There isn't much in the way of decoration around here. We have some sturdy tables, the machinery, and lots of plastic crates stacked up against the walls. The air usually smells a bit like syrup and carbonation when we are in the middle of a production run. Most of us live nearby, so we just walk over in the mornings and get started. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find people in suits. We wear what’s comfortable for moving heavy boxes around and getting things done. We don't bother with big speeches or mission statements because everyone here already knows what their job is. We just focus on getting the soft drinks ready for the shops in the surrounding villages. Sometimes the machinery acts up and we have to spend half the afternoon fixing a valve or a belt, but that’s just how it is with a small operation like ours. We keep things simple and try to stay out of the way of the traffic on the main road. It’s a steady job that keeps us connected to the local community here in Kuzhimanna, and we just take each day as it comes.
